ganciclovir

5 mg/kg Intravenous every 12hr, administered over 1 hour for 14–21 days as an induction.
Maintenance
5 mg/kg Intravenous every day OR 6 mg/kg intravenous every Day for 5 days/week after induction therapy

foscarnet

Loading dose- 60 mg/kg every 8 hours intravenously for 21 days. Give the infusion for 60 minutes
Maintenance dose- 90-120 mg/kg intravenously each day. Give the infusion for 60-90 minutes
