2.5-10 mg/day orally divided 3-4 times per day; may be increased up to 1-5 mg orally/IM
16.25-25 mg IM/SC every 2 weeks; once stable, the effects of a single injection may last 4-6 weeks

The range of 8 to 15 mg is the reported psychoactive dose of muscimol This amount of muscimol can be found in as little as one gram of dried A. muscaria, though the strength varies greatly amongst mushrooms Muscimol's LD50 is 2.5 mg per kg intraperitoneally and 3.8 mg per kg subcutaneously; in rats, the LD50 is 4.5 mg per kg orally

prochlorperazine

Age: 2-6 years :

2.5 mg PO/PR 2-3 times daily do not exceed 20 mg per day
Do not exceed 10 mg per day on the first day

Age: 6-12 years
2.5 mg PO/PR 2-3 times daily do not exceed 25 mg per day
Do not exceed 10 mg per day on the first day.

levomepromazine (methotrimeprazine)

In children and adolescents, 0.25 mg/kg/day orally in 2-3 divided doses 0.0625-0.125 mg/kg/day to be administered as a single dose or in divided doses\
Titrate the dose based on its effectiveness 0.0625 mg/kg in D5W as a 250 ml infusion slowly at 20-40 drops/minute
