Actions: 

To reduce capillary fragility and microvessel bleeding, adrenochrome mono semicarbazone is used in the treatment. It is also used preoperatively in case of bleeding. 

Spectrum: 

The spectrum of adrenochrome mono semi-carbazone is indicated to reduce bleeding in conditions such as hematuria, uterine bleeding, secondary bleeding from wounds, retinal hemorrhage, epistaxis, and preoperative surgeries in case of bleeding.

Pharmacology

Pharmacology: 

To reduce capillary fragility and microvessel bleeding, adrenochrome mono semicarbazone is used in the treatment. It is also used preoperatively in case of bleeding.  

Pharmacodynamics: 

Anti-bleeding agent adrenochrome mono semi-carbazone increases aggregation of platelets, which forms clogs that interact with adrenoreceptors on the platelet surface, which makes the flow of blood secure which works at the capillary level.

Administration: 

Administration of adrenochrome monosemicarbazone is via IM, and the dose is specific to a particular patient condition and duration will be based on specific bleeding disorder, and monitoring should be done for side effects.
