The alkaloids in Corydalis known as tetrahydropalmatine (THP), shows analgesic effects by interacting with the opioid receptors in the central nervous system. This action may help alleviate both acute and chronic pain. corydalis has mild sedative properties and may promote relaxation and help with sleep.

Contraindication / Caution

Contraindication/Caution: 

• It is recommended to avoid using corydalis during pregnancy and lactation.   
• It is important to take caution in case of bleeding disorder or taking medicines such as anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs. 
• History of liver disease or impaired liver function, it is advisable to avoid using corydalis.
