Actions and Spectrum:
paramethasone limits the dilation and increased permeability of blood vessels at the site of inflammation. This helps to decrease the migration of immune cells and fluid to the affected area, reducing swelling and pain.
Glucocorticoids, including paramethasone, may inhibit the release of arachidonic acid from phospholipids, leading to reduced formation of prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are potent mediators of inflammation.

Pharmacology:
As a glucocorticoid, paramethasone exerts its anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting leukocyte infiltration, interfering with inflammatory mediators, and reducing the production of inflammatory substances like prostaglandins. These actions contribute to its ability to reduce inflammation and relieve various inflammatory conditions.
Pharmacodynamics:
paramethasone act on phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins (lipocortins). This action reduces the production of arachidonic acid, a precursor to potent mediators of inflammation, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
Pharmacokinetics:
Absorption
The drug is absorbed systemically.
Distribution
It gets distributed in the circulatory system.
Metabolism
The liver does metabolism.
Elimination and Excretion
The drug gets excreted in the urine and through bile.
Administration:
The drug is administered orally or intravenously
