For >18 years: 40 mg IM/IV as an initial dose, 20-40 mg every 6-12 hours followed by initial dose (do not exceed 80 mg)
Dose Adjustments
For hepatic impairment:
Moderate (Child-Pugh score 7-9): 20 mg every 6-12 hours (do not exceed 40 mg/day)
Severe (Child-Pugh score >9): Not recommended
may enhance the serum concentration of CYP2C9 inhibitors
When loracarbef is used together with parecoxib, the risk or seriousness of nephrotoxicity is enhanced
When parecoxib is used together with sertraline, the risk or seriousness of bleeding may be enhanced
When parecoxib is used together with bufexamac, this leads to enhanced risk or seriousness of adverse outcomes
When parecoxib is used together with nifenazone, this leads to enhanced risk or seriousness of adverse events
