The suspected origin of the pandemic stems from a laboratory incident with gain-of-function research at an extremely high-risk level. Similar research projects that increase virus risk for scientists to explore have inadequate oversight and monitoring.

EcoHealth Alliance, which receives U.S. taxpayer funding through Dr. Peter Daszak, operates a dangerous gain-of-function research program in Wuhan, China.

Dr. Morens provided confidential grant details through emails to Dr. Daszak, and at the same time, he worked to circumvent rules regarding public information disclosure. The Biden Administration’s Health and Human Services Department (HHS) faced criticism for its slow investigation, along with document concealment and minimal support for congressional fact-finding activities. Dr. Daszak faces accusations from Congress regarding his altering files and providing false statements intended to delay their investigation.
The office led by New York Governor Kathy Hochul actively blocks New York state’s COVID-19 response documents from public access that belonged to predecessor Andrew Cuomo. The nursing home policy enacted by Governor Cuomo, which mandated the acceptance of COVID-positive patients, has been labeled as “medical malpractice”.
Multiple nations, along with independent organizations, are currently criticizing the operations of the World Health Organization (WHO). Most critics blame the organization for its failure to protect global health since it placed China first. U.S. officials express doubts that the new WHO-led initiative to establish a global “Pandemic Treaty” could potentially compromise American sovereignty.
Many of the pandemic measures implemented in recent years showed evidence of an insufficient scientific foundation. Dr. Fauci acknowledged that the six-foot social distancing guideline lacked robust scientific evidence and was initially based on limited data. The public health leaders repeatedly altered their mask recommendations over time without providing sufficient supporting data, which produced confusion and skepticism within the public.
Serious mental health deterioration throughout young populations, together with substantial economic damage, proved to be the consequences of lockdown policies. Many critics maintain that the government prioritized vulnerable groups poorly by making millions surrender career opportunities, along with educational benefits and personal welfare.
Many citizens believe the government sought to control the COVID-19 narrative by suppressing alternative views and preventing people from expressing dissent. The Biden Administration has been accused of pressuring major social media platforms to remove content that disputed the official governmental perspective. Americans pushed for information about both the origin of COVID-19 and the role of political forces versus scientific principles in the pandemic response.
