Public Health campaign is needed to raise awareness about Reyes syndrome. All pharmacies should have a warning poster. Doctors can warn mothers at each preventive visit and send a link to a YouTube video on the subject.
No child should be affected by Reyes syndrome in the midst of knowledge and awareness campaigns.
I am from Pakistan and Herbalist in this case many children are no working stomach and sometimes they’re going to weakness of overall body and literally prescription is just rose water and applying mustard oil on skin properly 3 twice a day

I think there should be a greater public awareness on the hazards of giving Aspirin to ill children. From our earliest medical education, we’ve been taught that Acetaminophen – IF at all indicated – is certainly preferred to salicylates as anti-pyretics when children are involved, due to the complication of Reye’s syndrome. Better still, children should be taken to a medical facility once illness is observed rather than self-medicating them at home.

Can the presenting signs be early signs of Reye Syndrome? This boy needs urgent intervention especially with GCS of 8, he’s closer to being intubated.
