mg
Orally
once a day
Indicated for Gout
8 mg intravenously infused every two weeks administered along with methotrexate 15 mg orally every week
If the administration is along with methotrexate, start every week folinic acid or folic acid supplementation and methotrexate a minimum of four weeks prior to initiation and all over pegloticase therapy
For patients who are contraindicated to methotrexate, pegloticase singly can be used
Administer 250 mg orally two times daily one week
The recommended dosage increment involves raising the oral intake to 500 mg twice daily, with a maximum daily dose of 2 grams each day
The dosage should be increased by 500 mg every four weeks
In the absence of gout attacks for 4 months and with uric acid levels in the normal range, a reduction of 500 mg every six months may be considered
Indicated for Hyperuricaemia with gout
50 mg to 200 mg orally every day
One tablet taken orally daily after meals
Initial dose: 20mg orally twice daily
Maintenance dose: 60mg orally twice a day
Maximum dose: 80mg orally twice a day
Based on patient responses in clinical trials, in vivo data suggests taking 600 mg & 800 mg orally
It belongs to the URAT inhibitor class and under investigation of clinical trials for its indication in the management of gout
It also lowers the uric acid levels which helps in preventing the formation and deposition of crystals and reduces the frequency of gout attacks
Indicated in the treatment of Gouty Arthritis
Medication should be started at a dose of 100 mg twice a day
Your doctor may gradually increase your dose up to 800 mg daily (e.g., 200 mg 4 times daily) based on how you respond to the drug
For persistent gout, a daily dose of 200 mg to 400 mg is typical
Take 200 mg two times a day orally for one week
Familial adenomatous polyposis (Off-label)
Take 150 mg to 200 mg two times a day orally
Dose Adjustments
Limited data is available
The recommended initial dosage for gout is 100 mg a day through oral administration, which can be increased weekly to a range of 200 to 300 mg a day
Moderate to severe: For moderate to severe cases of gout, the initial dosage is also 100 mg a day orally, with a weekly increase to a range of 400 to 600 mg a day
40 mg orally each day
Increase the dose to 80 mg orally each day after
1 tablet orally each day
Take 200 mg two times a day orally for one week
Familial adenomatous polyposis (Off-label)
Take 150 mg to 200 mg two times a day orally
