Continue use as directed, even if your symptoms improve. This medication is intended for use in the ear only. Avoid contact with your eyes. Prior to and after use, ensure that your hands are clean. 

Clean the outer ear thoroughly before application, and make sure it is completely dry. With the affected ear facing upward, lie on your side. For children aged three and older, as well as adults, gently pull the outer ear outward and upward. For children under 3, pull the outer ear outward and downward. 

Administer the drops into the ear without the dropper touching the ear. Remain on your side for 5 minutes. If your doctor has instructed you to use a cotton wick with this medication, follow their guidance carefully.
