Pharmacology

Pharmacology: 

Menotrophin is a protein-based therapy that combines human LH and FSH. 

Pharmacodynamics: 

Menotropins treat female infertility by causing the pre-ovulatory ovarian follicle to rupture and stimulating late follicular maturation which helps in restarting oocyte meiosis.

Adminstartion

Administration: 

Reconstitute the vial with 1 to 2 ml of NS. The reconstituted medicine should be administered immediately intramuscularly or subcutaneously as advised by the doctor.
