Group A Streptococcal (GAS) Infections
Indicated for Streptococcal Pharyngitis:
20-30 mg/kg/day orally divided 3 times for Chronic carrier treatment
7 mg/kg/dose 3 times daily for 10 days for Acute treatment
may diminish the therapeutic effect when combined with clindamycin
may enhance the metabolism of clobetasol propionate
it increases the effect of neuromuscular blockage of neuromuscular-blocking agents
