Hypersensitivity: Individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergy to bromisoval or its components should not use this medication.Â
Respiratory Depression: bromisoval can cause respiratory depression, which is a slowing down of the breathing rate. It should be avoided in individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions, such as severe asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or any condition that affects lung function.Â
Liver Dysfunction: bromisoval is metabolized by the liver, and its use should be avoided or closely monitored in individuals with severe liver dysfunction or liver disease.Â
Alcohol and Other CNS Depressants: bromisoval can potentiate the CNS depressant effects of alcohol and other drugs that act on the CNS, such as benzodiazepines, opioids, and barbiturates. Combining these substances can lead to excessive sedation, respiratory depression, and overdose.Â
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Research on the safety of bromisoval during pregnancy and breastfeeding is currently insufficient. and its use is generally not recommended in these situations unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks.Â
