Hypersensitivity: Individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to nifenazone or any of its components should avoid its use.Â
Gastrointestinal Disorders: People with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation related to NSAID use should avoid nifenazone due to the potential for exacerbating these conditions.Â
Severe Heart Failure: Nifenazone can cause fluid retention and edema, potentially worsening heart failure symptoms. Therefore, it’s generally avoided in individuals with severe heart failure.Â
Severe Renal or Hepatic Impairment: Patients with severe kidney or liver problems should avoid nifenazone, as it may further impair these organs’ function.Â
Bleeding Disorders: Nifenazone, like other NSAIDs, can inhibit platelet function and may enhance bleeding more likely in people with bleeding disorders or those using anticoagulant drugs.Â
Pregnancy and Lactation: Nifenazone may harm the fetus or cause labor difficulties. Consequently, it is usually avoided when pregnant, especially in the third trimester. Additionally, it’s not recommended for use while breastfeeding due to potential adverse effects on the infant.Â

Pharmacology: Nifenazone is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. It belongs to the class of pyrazolone derivatives.Â
