Generic Name: bismuth subcitrate potassium/metronidazole/tetracycline hydrochloride
Why do we use bismuth subcitrate potassium/metronidazole/tetracycline hydrochloride?Â
The combination of bismuth subcitrate potassium, metronidazole, and tetracycline hydrochloride is commonly used in a treatment regimen known as “concomitant therapy” for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria. H. pylori is a bacterium that infects the stomach and can cause various gastrointestinal disorders, including gastritis, peptic ulcers, and even stomach cancer.
