Contraindication:Â
magnesium chloride is contraindicated in individuals with a known hypersensitivity to magnesium chloride or any of its components. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment or renal failure, as magnesium excretion is reduced in these patients, leading to magnesium toxicity.
Patients with heart block or myocardial damage should also use magnesium chloride with caution. Additionally, magnesium chloride is contraindicated in patients with bowel obstruction or perforation, as it may exacerbate these conditions. Â
